Has anyone seen a tail spot blenny with such vibrant coloration for sale before? The picture was taken in Indonesia. Not sure if this is a regional color morph, or if these are mating colors.

Been on the hunt myself...
This is a more recent picture since it’s dated 2015, but I’ve been seeing random pictures on the interwebs for years!
Never once seen one like this in person...
Definitely wish more information would come about

I read somewhere that the head gets more blue as they get older but I have no idea if that's actually reliable information. Mine I got very very small, and he's grown a bit but still has the more brownish coloration. I'm guessing it's mating colors or something.

I've seen them with blue heads when displaying but not that blue. Don't rule out extra photo colour saturation and the effect of taking pictures under a few metres of water.

I have one, I didn’t request the certain color. I guess I just got lucky. I’ve been unable to find any solid information on this. I am unsure if it is and actual color morph or just a temporary state. Someone mentioned it being mating colors, I have noticed some head bobbing that could indicate it’s looking for a mate.

I am in the process of trying to purchase it. It is by far my favorite Blemmy
