I am so happy you team introduced in your par testing the gradual separation of two or more led fixtures in order to achieve a more uniforme light distribution/par.
Well done, congratulations.

Very nice video. Super informative as usual. So the good news is I think when I do my 5ft build I'll only need 4 lights not 5.. so I saved money already.hahah. ugh

It seems like it covers about the same area as the G4, just that it does an even better job in doing so. Was hoping Ecotech would go to a larger form factor as an option. Maybe 2’ x 3’ coverage for full sps tank? Thanks for the video! You all do an incredible job with these!

Yea I agree. The tank I plan on building is going to be 32 deep front to back. I'd love to know the par spread on 32-36 inches

Yeah, I watched the video early too. There was supposed to be a video up shortly after on the G5 Pro numbers...

Thanks everyone for your patience. We got a couple of data graphics flip-flopped towards the end of the video that we needed to fix. Doing our best to avoid confusion and give you the most accurate info we have! ;)

It will be back up shortly.
Either way, the numbers looked promising. Keep up the great work you guys do.

The one thing the video doesn't talk about much is controller access. It talks about Mobius, but not the others. Does it work with Apex (WXM) or GHL? Are there plans for it to work with other controllers or is Ecotech breaking totally from other controllers with this new light?

Thank you for this very informative video!
Can't wait to see the same format for the G5 PRO
