Yes, they pop more under the Orpheks but it's only reflective. If I put that same coral under t5 it will look slightly different. You can get the same look by adding an LED 400-450 led bar to the T5s which I still think it's one of the best combos out there

I got some of the Navy Tort from you years ago and it was a great looking coral especially under Orpheks with alot of white. I need to find another peice as I lost it when I moved a few years ago. The Red Planet I got from you would also be another great one under white lights.

Montipora spongodes looks good under white lighting and has some cool growth patterns. It can be a pest as it will overtake everything in its path.

I started putting it on disks as it encrusts then throws some cool upward growth around the edges. This is one that looks good in blue and white.

Anyone have a colony of vivid rainbow under daylight or halide/t5? I have a brown frag that it’s partially colored up so not a great example yet. Looks amazing when fully colored up and large in a white spectrum. My crappy frag below

Beautiful!! I have another in that family but only a frag. Reef raft Alice in wonderland.

I have a pic of my tenuis from my old tank. I have a frag of it in my current system but it hasn’t really done much in 8 months but get thicker. That tenuis would grow like a weed for me in the past. Now it’s a slow grower for everyone. I wonder what changed lol … hmmmm

You know, I’ve been trying to get a piece of your rainbow tenuis.

The CCH Icarus is thriving under T5 right now, it’s such a full spec stunner. I’d imagine under your MH, it’s gonna explode in growth and really really put off beautiful colors; the sheen is beautiful.

You should see the booger that I have of it lol. That tenuis is screwed. I grew big colonies of it in the past and this one is broken lol, barely grows with little pe. I think pirates reef still has a healthy specimen of it but I’m not paying that price. In today’s selection of tenuis and led lights, it’s just another tenuis.

Your Icarus looks beautiful under t5, I’m going to move mine over. Out of curiosity, do you have an lro buzz light year? Thats another one that i was thinking about moving over but never found a full spectrum example of it. I’m always cautious because sometimes I seem to ruin certain corals under halides.
