Vic dropped in on Ronald to check out his impressive 220-gallon tank! Ronald has been reef-keeping for about 30 years, and his corals showcase his expertise. The tank is primarily SPS, with so many Acropora corals that Ronald is contemplating either upgrading to a larger tank or ramping up his coral fragging efforts. Underneath the hood though, there's an array of different lighting varieties illuminating this system! Is it overkill or Just the perfect amount of light to hit the deepest parts of this 220 Gallon SPS tank?

As our journey continues through the bayous of Louisiana our next stop was in Slidell to check out where the magic that takes place at ⁠ @CoralVueTV Hydros Headquarters. To our delight we got to check out David D'Aquin amazing 1200- gallon floating display reef tank. David is the owner of CoralVue/Hydros and they have been manufacturing aquarium products for stores since In 2002 so this guy knows his stuff. This video shows a true testament to how beneficial it can be to plan the entire system out before building it, plus it shows all of the unique things you can do with a fully custom saltwater aquarium system & filtration project.
