Hes quite the observer....when he doesnt have his hands in front of his face
Today, I started plumbing the overflow and return.
Teaching all I can to the boy from month 1
Even though hes sleeping.
Another BRS order and I should have the plumbing squared away and time to start planning the sand rinse and rock install.
The rock has been cooking for nearly 1 year lol.
Hows that for a head start

Yesterdays and todays antics.
Scrape front glass for the first time in 6 months.
Large water change focusing on loose detritus and debris
Rearrange sump and made an Ulva fuge.
Ulva arrived in mail so time for some nitrate reduction!
Loosely Installed the fuge light and making a home made deflector so sump doesnt glow pink lol.

What kind of fuge light is that salty? Ive been pondering making an enclosed fuge algae turf skimmer. Does it get hot? I'd want to fully enclose mine with maybe a fan but super minimal red light bleed.

Not too much updates as the build is still slowly improving.
Working on installing control csbinet on the wall beside the tank behind the door. Next is installation of the t5 fixture and maybe start filling after

Ok control cabinet installed with some heavy duty toggles.
Just need to cut a few holes on the side facing the tank to route the wires for everything.
This cabinet will house all of my controllers /power bricks as well as the battery backups and chargers for my pumps.
It will have a removable cover that im thinking of making solid or have cutouts to access some of the controls easily.
