Dear R2R, My wife calls my 72BF mixed-reef tank -"The Second Wife". I got my tank 2 years ago off Craiglist afterhaving good success with a 29 Gallon mixed-reef even with a HOB filter. The72BF tank was not well maintained and my first water-tests were scary. Like how werecreatures still alive with Nitrates over 160. Then started my quest to lowernitrates and phosphates to zero in record time. I still have many of thecomponents/regimen used to bring the trates down running on the tank, includingDIY refugium with Cheato as my sump was too small for a refugium, 2LF 150 running GFO, another 2LF 150 running Biopellets, Matrix pebbles and Purigen runningthrough a filtersock with Chemipure, Reef Octopus 110, and 20% WC weekly with NSW... Yes- my sump looks like an experiment gone way wrong...

You know your an addict when several LPS have your credit-card on file, Just do not tell my first wife... LOL...
