The shell of an unknown creature

Found this piece of shell in the aquarium. In my aquarium, two fish have recently disappeared without a trace. Could it be a predatory worm? Its shell.

That's so strange.. It looks like a horseshoe crab, but it can't be can it?

Edit: Someone mentioned it could be a SECTION of an animal, and that makes so much more sense LOL

Dang its larger than I thought it was. Yup im at a complete loss of what that was when it was alive.

Looks like the abdomen of a stinkbug that fell into your tank and then died and fell apart? I had that happen in one of my tanks.
