Hello everyone, if you’re like me, the anticipation of your new livestock showing up on your doorstep is almost painful to wait for. As I have learned from all of you, patience is the key for success within this hobby, however, the patience required while waiting for your goodie box to arrive is almost too much to ask of any reefer. This thread is created so that all of you can show off your beloved, new friends from the recent WWC live sale. Feel free to add pics of a few, or all of them if you wish. Also, please add when they will arrive, and what steps you are taking to prepare for your new arrivals! Happy reefing!

I picked up the Jason Fox grafted rainbow monti on the aftersale! Eagerly awaiting their arrival on this upcoming Friday. I just set up my refugium, and am planning on doing a water change depending on my nutrient levels.

I didnt want to add all huge photos so here is a photo of my speadsheet doc. Adding these to my 180(chalice and favias) and wifes 28 cube(the softies). They will be arriving friday. I am curious to hear about everyone qt process for corals as i usually just dip in revive. Also have never kept favia or chalice under my reefbreeders and dont want to bleach them or morph them. Anyone have similar lights and able to shed light (ha) on there intensity. I have whites for 7 hours ramping and peaking at 30% for 3 hours and blues on for 14hours starting at 13 ramp to 100 peak at 100%. I have read the whites are chalice killers and thinking i should cut back my whites even more but i dont want to kill my monti or green slimer. Lets see every ones elses hauls!

I use Revive too, but would be interested in hearing how some qt them. I have a Mycedium coral that is a form of chalice that is doing great. I keep it in low to moderate lighting, low to moderate flow. I see you got a monster zoa! That thing is sweet!

Here is my crop after acclimation and in low light. From left to right, top to bottom this is what I believe they are, please correct me if I got some wrong. I tried to do my best matching frags with pics:

1- Goblin Galaxea (it is inside there but still hasn't open)
2- CC Bling Bling Cyphastrea
3- WWC My Precious Platygyra
4- Lime Green Cyphastrea (it was fully covering the rock for a few mins then totally retracted...hope it is just getting used to the tank)
5- Cherry Blasmomussa (It doesn't quite look like the pic but by elimination it must be it, confirmation is appreciated)
6- WWC Pink Saphire Chalice
7- Starburst cap
8- Everlasting Globstopper

One thing I did notice is that it seemed like the polyps would come out and then retract, is this normal, the frags just unstressing and getting used to the water and such? I'm new to this

I’m a new reefer myself. Maybe someone can chime in here. I would think so. I know my bubble coral deflates and re inflates and all is good. Sometimes, on my zoas, the polyps contract if a snail or crab gets close. Then they come out when the coast is clear.

Zoas already opening. I just want to thank you guys the corals look amazing I love how you package them and the packing slip with the photos all the bags were full of water the only thing wet was the T-shirt which I’m sure will not be the first time it gets covered in salt water thanks again.

I received my order today and am super excited about it. I acclimated, dipped, and placed them on my frag rack. All corals are doing great so far. I did have one broken branch on my birdsnest which prompted me to call WWC. I spoke with Frank, who couldn’t have been more help. Truly excellent customer service! This was my first order from them, but surely won’t be my last. Thanks again WWC for leading the way in customer service within the reefing community. Add another satisfied customer to the books! :)
