I shouldn't have any issues adding a Paracheilinus cyaneus (blue flasher) in with the following should I? I ordered one previously but it came in with a bad swim bladder issue and passed overnight.

Use a social acclimation box. The C. isoscoles will probably display, but should be fine.

I'm thinking about ordering a Potter's Wrasse (Macropharyngodon geoffroyi).
The website doesn't say male or female.
Do they start life as female, then turn male?
Can you have 2 females and expect one to turn male?

All wrasses are protogynous hermaphrodites; so yes juvi's are always female.
2 females could remain as 2 females forever when it comes to Macropharyngodon species. Whether one transitions mainly depends on the overall hierarchy of all the tank mates.

I got a biocube 29g with two clowns paired, watchman goby and purple fire fish. I want to get another active fish like my clowns... So which wrasse is most active and has awesome colours?

Pygmy Wrasses (Wetmorella sp.) or Pink streak (Pseudocheilinops ataenia) are about the only wrasses that would do well in a 29g.

Yup; those are the only species I consider suitable for a 29g tank.

OK thanks. SA box will be used for sure. I figured the issue would probably be between those 2. Hopefully they get along well. I've been thinking of adding a flasher for a while now and these blues finally popped up on the list. Hopefully I get one shipped that is somewhat healthy this week. If not I may go with the filamented.

Well I ordered a Potters Wrasse from liveaquaria and it came in today.
Happy I got the fish, but very unhappy with the size.
When I ordered I specified medium, which according to their chart, they would be 1-3/4" to 2-1/4".
It would assume it would be a female
They shipped me a Potters Wrasse that is 4"+ and almost 2" tall.
It's a monster compared to my other wrasses.
Not what I wanted at all.

He's not a happy camper either.
Hasn't found the sand yet. Doing the laying on his side thing.:(

Hope he does well. My buddy ordered a medium male melagris a few days ago and they sent him the biggest one I've ever seen in person. Every bit of 6" and tall too. He did the laying around thing the first day, but us now looking good.

The thing I'm worried about is I have a couple of meleagris that are 1/3 the size. The bigger of the 2 was acting like the boss already. If I add this huge potters wrasse, what's that going to do to the dynamics? Is the potters going to be a terror to the 2 smaller ones?

Potters are usually pretty well behaved with other leopards. It may ignore them, it may posture a little, but shouldn't pose too much of an issue.

Agree, but using an acclimation box is easy/cheap insurance.

I may not add this guy to my tank.
I'm looking for someone to take him locally.

BUT first I got to get him eating.

I added half a bottle of Tigger pods yesterday and the other half today.
Didn't really see much of a reaction.
Tried a little mysis and a small amount of blood worms.
I did see him pick at some rock in the tank, once.

He went back into the sand box early this afternoon.

Although common throughout their range, Xenojulis margaritaceus is irregularly collected. Your best bet would be to contact an LFS or online vender to special order one. I would say Zoacollector or Reefwise for this.

I have been bugging the manager of Canadacorals for weeks to place me an order, can't wait! I have many flatworms still in the tank even after using Flatworm exit, do you guys have a Melanurus wrasse that eats flatworms?
I visited a reef store about 4 hours away last year and they had a Melanurus, I stood there watching him for at least a half hour. I wanted one ever since.
