I'm a noob. Never had a Wrasse in my life and I've been doing this a long time.
But here's mine. He's a fiesty feller this morning. I really love this fish.
he's even moody as to what food he'll take. Sometimes he loves pellets and sometimes, he's like "whatever dude..." He loves frozen food though.

He just got some new tankmates shortly after this picture, but so far no trouble.
He went over and checked out my flame hawk and my midas blenny and now he's going about his business.
Hopefully this remains as such. LOL

I'm going to add a really awesome wrasse in a while. Just going to let some time pass for now.

That is a good looking fella.

My old guy passed in 2017 after 8 years, and it was hard to match the character he brought to the tank. Good choice of fish!

H chrysotaenia. Not shy at all and eats aggressively so he should settle into the tank real nice. Not like the Xmas wrasse which has averaged 4 days between appearances since she went in.

I like him a lot. I like him best when he first wakes up. You see a big puff of sand and then he starts parading around like "Hey, where's my breakfast?"

Oh my goodness, that little guy is adorable. He is tiny! Some of the other fish must be wondering if he’s food!

Is that one of the captive bred cleaners?

I am worried about that. It’s miniscule. Even smaller then the last one I got.

I saw a cool “Latigo wrasse” today. I’ve never had one, but it looked awfully similar to my Pyle’s fairy I had back in the day. Cool fish.

Yeah. PE calanus and TDO B2 pellets.

Hey all, wondering how everyone would finish stocking my tank wrasse-wise.

I know mostly what other fish I would like that aren't wrasse, but I'm still on the fence on which wrasse(s) to go with.
I have a smaller tank, so I'm limited at the moment, even though there is an upgrade on the way soon.
Want to choose the best variety of colour, movement, etc while stocking the tank to avoid having a tank that I constantly want to change.

I don't know whether or not a Lennardi wrasse is a good idea or not, so I'll keep doing more research on them. I do want one, but I don't want to kill such a beautiful fish with any negligence.

These are the fish I already have, and the list of wrasse I've been considering - NOT planning on all of them obviously, just ones I like.
Ocellaris Clown pair
Meleagris Leopard Wrasse
Yellow Assessor
Pink Streaked Wrasse

Biocellatus Wrasse
Silverbelly Wrasse
Leopard Wrasse (whichever I come across first that's healthy, I quite like them all)
Black Lined Tamarin Wrasse
Radiant Wrasse
Carpenter Flasher Wrasse
Social Fairy Wrasse
Brunneus Fairy Wrasse

I'm not sure how many fish I would be able to stock in total, I'm aiming for a maximum of about 13 fish.
These are the other fish I'm planning on (not wrasse)
Scissortail Dartfish trio
Green Clown Goby
Dwarf Angel (not too sure which one just yet)
Double Barred Rabbitfish

A lineatus? One of the easier tamarins along with its close relatives A melanarus and A meleagrides. Still difficult though.

Nope. They will kill each other unless two pair (and kill the third).

Hard to say without knowing your tank size. I would just say you should learn what the different type of wrasse are like. For example Halichoeres are generally calm cruisers. Flashers and fairies are top of the tank show offs. Tamarins and leopards are perusers. Also the more different the wrasse the more likely they will get along. If I were you I'd try a fairy or flasher for variety.

Definitely need to know how big the tank is. Even in 230 gallons my tricolor fairies fight occasionally.

Display tank 3 foot by 2 foot 70 gallon, total 100 gallons.

Thanks, I thought the scissor tail dartfish were meant to be in a group, don't know where I got that idea from.

Sorry, the double barred rabbit is in my plan for a future tank, didn't mean to put that in here. My tank is nowhere near big enough to house one well.

They can be kept in groups if they have enough room. But 3 just leaves someone as the frustrated third wheel.

No, I love halichoeres, I have a couple on my list. Radiant, silverbelly, biocellatus are my favourites

My first thought would just be a fairy as they are a very different type of wrasse to your leopard. Halichoeres are the easiest though.
