Flaring up at it's reflection before coming and tough talking towards me.

Apologies for the rhomboid spam.

So dang cute! Is she a McCoskers or Carpenter?
She was a female rubricaudalis but I’m on the fence of rubricaudalis, amanda or mccoskeri. Shes the wrong markings for a carpenteri - my male has 4 lines in total and she only has 3 (more like my rubri). Her tail also has tints of red which is making this ID confusing.

One of those $60 amanda wrasses. That would be nice!

Sorry everyone, I got no wrasses today, just a wrasse wannabe:

But, I got my new screen kit together with smaller mesh and a Plank arriving next Tuesday. Then I have to set up the QT tank and then... wrasses!

Tik tik tik goes the timebomb
Yep, I’m just waiting… surprisingly the diamond tail make is suppressing the female more than the rubricaudalis is.

The Jade is also enjoying his new territory. I’m just waiting for that to backfire - I’m hoping I see my second leopard soon as if I don’t he may have been the reason.

A (further away) LFS to me has an Amanda in their display and I’d be intrigued to see how different they actually are in person.

Stumbled across these 2 tonight while out and about. I'll try and get some better pics tomorrow if they're not buried. They skipped the smaller quarantines since the tank is currently hyposalinity at 1.009 anyways, and I have the quarantines torn apart while I remodel the spare bedroom.

Halichoeres biocellatus and Macropharyngodon moyeri

For a second I thought the second was a juvenile T lunare and you’d have to be crazy to have one of those.

Nah, I've kept T. lunare in the past. I'll grab a Thalassoma quinquevittatum or a T. lutescens before I grab a lunare again. Also considered grabbing T. lucasanum as one of my LFS has had a couple nice juveniles for a while now. Just running out of space, and not sure the 4" T. hardwicke already in there would play nicely. Already pushy with the other fish, though it seems to ignore the juvenile Cheilinus fasciatus
