My auto correct is bad need should be red he is to red and blue I feel to be a leopard but I may be mistaken sorry still a bit shy

Looks like ornate leopard.

To the guy with the Claudia, I would not put two together in a 120 even if one were a 100 percent female. I have 6 h. Wrasses and 5 leopards together and this x ma's wrasses are the most aggressive. You'll end with 1, and it will likely be the last one you add. I added mine last and he bullies some of the bigger males that were established before him. Especially the yellows, he absolutely hate them.

Mine was fine for a long time. It's almost like a switch flipped. He forced my yellows to bury for a couple weeks after months of being together with no issue. Then he kept them cornered for a month, right now he is leaving them alone but still darts at them now and then. I figure its only a matter of time before things get ugly again.

Took out my DSLR today and tried to capture a few shots of the wrasses in my tank. I really need to get a better lens and read up on how to take these shots better. I took about 100 shots before I can get these 4.
The McCorkers flashes all the time, day and night. Its like he is on coke 24/7.

I think so but there are at least 3 that look very close to eachother. If nothing else you made me realize I don't have very many decent pics of him.

I have a Red Head Solon, McCoskers, and Lubbocks...............great group of fish that get along well together.
Having the 3 together seems to keep the colors vibrant on them all, if they are alone they seem to fade from no competition.

Correct on the id, though I have found their reputation for meanness to be more along the lines of he rest of the Genus as some are perfectly well behaved with tankmates and others view the wjhole tank as theirs and really chase off close competitors. They also get slightly larger than their closest relatives in the Genus so they have a little more "weight" to throw around.

Well here are my wrasses.

"Andy" the Anampses neoguinaicus

ornate leopard

Christmas wrasse

"Leo" the Male leopard wrasse

Super mean redhead solon wrasse

Hate to break it too you, but Leo the male leopard is a female, and the red head solon is C. cf. cyanopleura, so frequently sold as a female solon, but yours is a male.

I see now. Oh well, hopefully things stay as they are right now for me.

Good to know. Thanks for the info.

Yup you will really know when it turns male, here is mine. Turned blue literally over night.

Looks like a male Halichoeres Biocellatus aka red lined wrasse. I have one as well and it's been a great fish. Since he's become an adult and there are no longer flatworms or pods, he's taken to mimicking my clownfish pair and hosts with them in a back corner a good part of the day.

I like those red lines. I had one in qt when I added all my halichoerus but it did not make it. I added the last 3 all at the same time to disperse aggression, then never added any more because the established guys won't have that.

Thanks everyone. He has destroyed the pyramidellid snails that I used to have. Lately I think he has been going after my snails. Keep finding them upside down.
