Kind of looks like it but that's almost unheard of. Worms and internal parasites are common in fairy wrasse?

They are beautiful!

Swimming on the glass is generally from being obsessed with reflection. I've read wrapping a sheet across the glass can help. I've never had good luck curbing the behavior but not always a sign it will perish. I have a few that do it constantly and have had them for a good long time.

I love these guys. I am planning on picking up a group in the new build.

I had a leopard obsess over the reflections in the front corner of my tank for the first week. After that it would go back and check the corner several times a day for about a month until it eventually forgot about it.

Here are the pics. I tried to upload before from my phone but it didn't work.

That wrasse is not carrying eggs. It likely has a digestive tract blockage.

What species of leopard wrasse is this?

Not a leopard wrasse, its a tamarin. Anampses chrysocephalus, males are known as psych head wrasses, females are red tail tamarins, or red tail anampses. Females are difficult and deemed expert only, males are even more difficult.

Agree, and commonly from internal parasites.

Yes; not for the beginner. Also, the male pictured there is not yet a terminal male, as it is yet to lose the red tail.

Hey all.
My LFS text me that he got a African Exquisite Wrasse in today. He knew i had been looking for one for the past 8 months. Super nice of him To text me .
Long story short . i picked him up. Amazing coloring. But my luck with single quarantined wrasses has been very low. I know these guys stress and lay around when in Qt.
What are your QT protocol for your wrasses?
Here are the pics he text. Me. No justification to the coloring . Thanks for your input.

What can I do to help? I have prazipro for flukes. Do you think that will help?

Yes, Prazipro treats internal parasites as well.

I remember hearing that freshwater keepers feed their fish cooked peas when they have digestive issues. May be worth a shot.

I've had two of those over the last couple of years, first one did fine in quarantine and only had a couple of prazi treatments before it went to DT. Grew rather quick and got an amazing pattern when flashing. Unfortunately it jumped out from a small opening. tried another one 3 months back and it dies in QT with no symptoms after 2 days. got another one after it and it showed ich while i was doing my first prazi treatment so it had 2 weeks in Quarantine with Cupramine at 3/4 dose then couple of weeks observation with one more prazi treatment and it went to DT and doing great. we don't get those frequently here so they're a nice addition.

That is a nice African exquisite wrasse.

For quarantine, 2 treatments of prazi, no copper unless you see signs of ich, as I have found wrasses sensitive to copper. 6 weeks of observation, provide simple cover, such as pvc, so you can observe even if he hides,
