I would buy that fish I have wanted one for so long. I am losing hope in finding ear muff males

First off, your puffer is awesome!

I have a Melanurus Wrasse and it has a single white spot on it. Are they easily susceptible to ich? I can't get a pic of him. He's too fast!

Help help help!!! Just added a golden rhomboid last week and I haven't seen him since I let her out the acclimation box... Anyone had any experience with them?

They are a little more shy than other fairy wrasses and can be intimidated by more boisterous fish, particularly other wrasses. If there is aggression towards it the rhomboid may stay hidden.

Well thanks for the info breakfasteatter!![emoji106][emoji106] came home from work today and that pretty golden was out swimming around today finally after 5 days. Then today I just went and picked up my two new ladies a flame and finally a shark fin. Haha problem is the shark fin is just about a full blown male. Dam thing is more male then the one I'm trying to speed up. What to do... This new one is one of the nicer ones I've seen too.

Yes was attempting to get the one I have to finish the transformation to a male

Both in the tank is very likely to quickly result in a death match... Best to find one a new home.

Good luck. In my experience male naokos are quite aggressive. I'm curious how your situation turns out... please update at some point.

I have a male Melanurus. I love him! My blue Hippo Tang follows him around all the time! Anyone else notice their Tang follow their Wrasse? I'm pretty sure it's because he's always sifting sand everywhere and she gets food from it. But it's still cute. [emoji38]

No problems at all. He's a good boy. I buy a femail later. It has totally different colors and will stay smaller than male.
