The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

Flame are very docile IMO

Here is my clan of wrasses... Lots of them.

What works for me is partially because I have so many wrasses that aggression is minimized.

So I looked up the Lineatus and it's expensive. I won't do that till I know what I'm doing with them.

Would adding a Flame be ok with my Melanurus or should I just wait and add the Lineatus and Flame wrasses at once?

And I would want all males? (I'd prefer them anyway...they're prettier!)

All of my fairy wrasses are male. I think you'll find male flame wrasse and lineatus are similar in price. Paid the same for mine

Wow. Your tank is amazing!

So is it normal to have a fish bucket list a mile long?

Thanks!

That's my wrasse tank. I have an angel and tang tank I like about as much! :D

Yeah basically

Hard to tell with this pic. It looks like a juvenile Thalasomma of some kind, but could also possibly be a juvenile Halichoeres poeyi.

Would it b ok to add both at the same time ?
Yes, they can be added simultaneously.

I added a pink margin, Labouti, flame, and lineatus within days of each other and all is well thus far. Should that change I have other tanks to move fish to :)

With the skeletal shape of the head, I have a hard time believing it's anything except a Thalassoma species. In which case, a poor candidate for a reef tank.

I have a question keeping two types of Anampses wrasse together? Is this possible? I have a China Pearl and considering a tamarin wrasse.

Generally yes. Tank size?
