Got the ruby head into the acclamation box and after a day I let him go. My male pintail did a bit of flashing at first but now they are cool, on the other hand my yellow tang has bee a complete dick to him. I really like having a (4") tang but after time they all seam to turn into bullies..
Pics, pics, pics ;)

Loving that blue star and pintail

Thanks, I got three of them (blue star) the one by itself is the smallest and the two in the last picture with the male pintail are huge, the mid length one looks like it had a marble in its gut after feeding time, it east so much. I have had them 1.5 years and really wish one of them would transition to male. I had a male/female melagris pair but the male died for no reason one day, he was super fun at feeding time and always was the first to the mysis.

The hump before the dorsal reminded me of the shape of a rhomboid. Just did a google search on that species; wow very colorful, but I bet its going to be impossible to capture on camera his beauty; Similar to a black leopard.

Hey everyone. I am looking to add 2 more fish to my 70 gallon tank.

Current stock is a brisstle tooth taming tang, 2- Oscillaris Clowns, Firefish and blue spotted goby. Wanting to add a Yellow Coris and a tricolor fairy wrasse. What is your thoughts on adding these to my current stock?

I currently am having to add nitrates to my tank to keep them around 5ppm so my bio-load seems pretty small currently, but don't want to stress my system out.
Thanks

Why add nitrates? I always figured the goal was 0 there. Am I missing something?

You should be able to safely add both those without upsetting things.

Sometimes, though, tomini tangs will behave aggressively toward wrasses. That is not usually the case, but has been something I have observed on occasion.
