Anyone have a cirrhilabrus pylei? Would love to see them if so.
My only advice if you want 1 and other flashers or fairies, is that they don't always do well with others. I had to remove 1 because it wouldn't let my carpenters flasher out. Only 1 of 2 fish I've had to remove due 2 aggression (tried a 2nd chainlink eel but my boy wasn't having none of it, wanted 2 be an only eel child).

Lots if you do it right. 8+ and that's being conservative.

Haha thanks! Any recommendations for some peaceful fellow wrasses? Other inhabitants very beginner fish; clownfish, cardinalfish, etc.

Here's another lol Under no blues it looks better than I thought. He's been very active. Very happy so far!

It's a Beau's Fairy/c. beauperryi. Came in to a local store as misc/unknown. Going to build around and try to pull off something crazy, keeping the color, I've been told this has been impossible.
Well, here's the thing: your last picture there finally shows us the true colors. :P
And I'm sorry to say, but that's C cf. solorensis; the ruby head fairy.

Thanks guys. May be a silly question but how can you judge aggression through the box? Fin display or trying to dart at it? My other 2 fish have been looking at him, but it appears to be curiosity more than anything. The other tank mates is an orchid dottyback and a melanurus wrasse. The orchid did chase around my long fin/social wrasse which was smaller than him unlike this red fin fairy. I believe initial health and the stress from the dottyback was the reason for his disappearance/death. That guy also jumped out of my first smaller acclimation box on the first day into the DT. I will also add that the orchid dottyback has never shown aggression towards any other fish ever, just that small social fairy.
One more link to go along with those two above, and pertinent here: http://www.reefedition.com/acclimation-box-can-thing-really-work/

Would it possibly be safe to add a leopard wrasse (M. geoffroy yo be exact) with the following tank mates:
H. melanurus
C. lubbocki
C. rubripinnis
P. fridmani (orchid dottyback)

Should be okay.
