There's something fishy about this build...

My point is how weird it is that petco sells salt. Petco is the worst pet store by a distance here. Petsmart is not a high end store but it is compared to Petco.

For me Petco selling saltwater is like if McDonalds started selling foie gras and champagne

Unfortunately there's already someone by that name governing this state
Yeah, but he's nowhere near as fabulous.

Maybe @BristleWormHatercan back me up on this.

You know what my Petco sells? Cat food by the crate. It has even given up selling freshwater
Been a while since I've gone to a petco but I only remember seeing pet supplies and sad reptiles.

Wait, your Walmart doesn't sell champagne???

I said McDonalds
But perhaps it would be more like if Walmart opened a high end French restaurant by the cash registers.

Wait, your Walmart doesn't have a Ruth Chris Steak House???

Are you serious? Our local petco only sells cat/dog and small animal stuff. Very limited freshwater.

We thankfully have 1 awesome reefstore close by. But, i could break the bank very easy there if the husband let me.

I still want the splatter bubble coral.

Not sure where in IL you're located, but what's your preferred LFS? I'm always looking for new spots.

Confirmed PetCo by me also only sells cat/dog stuff, and very limited (and depressing looking) freshwater. Not even a hint of salt.

@fishguy242 is in IL. He may have some input.

He's in the part of Illinois we don't talk about (5 hours south of us city folk).
That's fair, but he's in a better position to survive the zombie apocalypse.

In the longer-term, yes. In the shorter term, I think civilization is the better place to be. We've got plenty of gun stores, lots of innocent homes to plunder, etc.

Though, in my case the zombies are less of a concern in the short term... It's the other humans that I'd have to do battle with in order to survive.

And before you ask, yes... I have thought about this too much. And I am absolutely one of those idiots that thinks they have a chance of surviving (at least for a little while) in a zombie apocalypse.

Other people would be the biggest threat, especially when trying to fight your way out of a city.
