I had some of those on a rock, like under 5 and they all melted away. Funny thing about it is all the other zoas that came on the rock have survived. It was a wild collected rock and I didn't pay much for it. I usually won't buy wild, but I couldn't pass this little rock by. Survival rate is much lower for me with wild caught corals.

Back to the corals at hand, they really are pretty and the one's I had had skirts that were literally glowing red. Wish I would have gotten a picture of them, I put it off too long.

I thought it was named some sort of sun name... I've got some that I've had for a while and they are pretty close to that color, still. They haven't grown particularly fast for me, but most of my zoas don't (I've been more focused on my SPS tank lately, I guess...).

It seems a bit spendy for that piece, but not like really crazy or anything IMO. Also their wild caught, who knows how long they have been in captivity and how well they will hold that color.

wow.. these aren't even Jerry Garcia's.. if I remember correctly, they look more like the Ring of Fire zoas.. not creetin's Ring of Fire palys, but zoas.. ;)

yeah your right Marvin... they are Ring of Fire... I have about 4 different frags of those, and sure didn't pay that much for them....
