Theyre about an inch to maybe two inch. You guys think they'll do fine growing up together ? Im hoping theyll eventually pair up without one beating up another. Theyll be the only ones in my 40g breeder. Anyone have any luck pairing up maroons? Thanks in advance !

Maroons are not easy to pair up.
I have a proven pair that was my first clown fish ever as I hate clown fish and these are tucked away in my frag room so I'll don't see them all the time.
Have them now little over two years, when the gold nuggets came out first.
Trying to pair up lighting maroons as we speak but not doing so good so far.

Acclimate and QT them with a divider but still they can see each other.

I have a pair that i have had for about 15 months.Got them from my LFS that buys from ORA.The 2 i bought were around 2 inches and the other about 1.5.Are you buying from LFS or online?Mine do get along good the larger one now a female is twice the size as the male.They are mean when i put my hand in the tank the female will attack it.

I didn't have much fighting with mine.They were in quarntine for about 6 weeks just the 2 of them.In my DT i have about 12 anemones that they go into now.At first the male was the first to go into the anemone then the female about 3 days later.Do you have a choice of clowns to choose from?Try and get the biggest one and the smallest one.You will have a better chance of pairing them up.
