Thinking about new scape?

I am removing a large dying colony of Euphyllia as well as rehoming some large mont cap colonies — so thinking I might need to add some new scape to fill the space. New scape or new coral — not sure yet???

I don’t currently use a HOB filter on my reef tank, but I have in the past.

I have used a HOB on fish only or quarantine tanks, but not on the display tank.
