Hi Gents!
Im thinking about removing the sand from my tank. Im struggeling for a long time (1.5 years or so) to keep nutrients under control, no matter how much i upgraded my Filtration or flow.
As you may have seen in previous Videos: my coral grew so big i can hardly clean my sand properly. And possibly that's a big Part of the equation i am trying to solve.
So, since ive tried everything else... why not.
I saw many videos and different approaches on youtube, some very very slow...over the course of a year... some not so slow: all at once.
I think i would maybe do it in 5 steps. 1 step each month.
My tank is 5 meters, so maybe 1 meter at a time.
What do you guys think?
Experiences, tips, ideas?

Happy reefing

16 ft means you have a lot of sand. That will take some time
