I've been wanting to get into reefing (haven't had an aquarium in over 25 years) and I was looking at the Innovative Marine Nuvo Pro SR-120. I know I will need to get lights for the tank and something for flow. Would a single MP40 be enough or will I need more? I would get an ATO also but is there any other more "mandatory" things I would need to get right away?

Yeah, you are going to need at least two for a tank that size. RODI unit obviously is something you want to get.

I was going to get a RODI unit just forgot to mention it, I will probably get the initial tank water from LFS as I'm not planning on having that much RODI water storage, was looking at a 50 gallon/day RODI unit so wouldn't want it to take 2 1/2 days to fill the tank initially.

As mentioned above, a 2nd powerhead of some kind would be ideal. Also, you'll definitely need a heater.

Yea another thing I just forgot to mention but I have down on my notepad that I'm compiling everything in. Was looking at getting the 600W Titanium Aquarium Heater w/ Helio Controller from BRS.

That's a good one. I like these controllers by Inkbird personally. They are wifi enabled and reliable. No experience with Helio, but I'm sure it's fine too. I would recommend using 2 heaters instead of one (less chance of malfunction and tank cooking). The Inkbird controller has 2 outlets so you can run dual heaters. 2 200w heaters would likely be enough for a tank that size, but doing 2 300w would definitely cover you.

That's just my suggestion.

My only thing is I just got rid of an AIO and went back to sump. I found that the room in the AIO compartments is limited compared to a sump.

So the one I mentioned is a bundle by BRS, its 2 300w heaters not a single 600w, It's one of their recommended combos with the heaters having 3 year warranty and the controller having a 5 year warranty, which is always nice.

That sounds perfect!
