Hello there, friends!
I would like to introduce myself, I am LearningHow2Reef (literally, pls help).
In this post I am going to introduce you to my new project, my first reef aquarium (and first aquarium in general).
As I am new to this hobby, I would love to listen to all of your advises, opinions and whatever you wanna write!
My tank specs are:
- The tank is a Betta compact model aquarium, 120l (30g), 60x50x40 cm (24x20x16 inches). This tank has a little sump in the back (I will show you in the pictures) with a little pump on it.
- SINE Wave Pump SLW-10 (JEBAO)
- Tunze Skimmer 9001
- Coral LED (ICA) (Leds 18x3w (54w) 2050lm)
- Eheim thermocontrol
- Coral Pro Salt (RedSea)
- 13 kg's of synthethic rock ( 29 pounds)
- Coral substratum
- I have been adding aquaforest bacterias (BIO S) for 10 days now (the time my aquarium has been running for)
Well, that is my aquarium for you guys, I hope you liked It, please, as I said before, leave any comments or recommendations.
I will keep posting as it develops, thank you in advance, and hope you guys stay well!
LearningHow2Reef (for real).

If there is one piece of advice that's crucial for your new tank. It takes a good 30 days or so for a new tank to finish the ammonia-nitrite-nitrate cycle, no matter what the bottle of bio starter you use. Best of luck and a big welcome to R2R :)

Thank you for the advice! I would like to know then, is the bio starter just to make yourself sure that bacterias are growing?
