Hope you’ve got a lot of pods in there!
It is literally to the point where it is infestation level. I think they have a home base where they are safe from my grazers. I will keep an eye on the population and replenish as needed. I know there are places you can set up a monthly subscription, if need be will go that route. At this point there are tiny lil fish hamburgers everywhere they look

If you have to go a m onthly sub. just do your own. You can harvest a bit every week. Saving me money and I don't have to do a lot except add phyto. When the jar is full, I use a turkey baster, remove 2-3 inches, add a bit more phyto and dump what I removed into m y refugium.

Just a lil teaser of what’s upcoming. I’ve learned a lot about plumbing. 45 degree turns on the return to help with flow restriction. Two drains from bottom of either side of a 6’ tank, and going into sumps filter socks on right end. Return pumps (2) in middle of stand in sump, going back to either end of tank and up for return. Will have to jebao returns, rated 1500-3000 gph. Had the single return on my 90 running at 68% lol and it was pushing some water so I think I’ll have plenty of wiggle room on the exchange rate through the sump. Slowly will move livestock over to the 125, been using the water change water to fill it with about 1/3 of fresh saltwater and prime. None of the rocks are connected but it is stable, I didn’t like the limitations of 3 huge structures 40-60 pounds each that were not going to move. Not sure what I’ll do with them, maybe sell them as part of the package of tbe 90 gallon. 5105DB5D-93B6-41DF-9BED-CF1554340BF2.jpeg 19992832-91AC-4AF6-811E-56F00D7CABE4.jpeg F6C6CB13-ADCA-4BA1-A039-4FF8A2CDE1F8.jpeg

SO MANY new updates.

added orange shoulder tang, 2 chromis, and CBB. The kole tang’s aggression unfortunately got the best of the CBB. Hard loss. Plan is to rehome the tang, and try again.

grabbed some SPS - it is growing :)

Putting in 1/2 gallon to full gallon of live phyto- I think that has been the best single action I’ve taken for my reef. I am harvesting phyto but use it just about as quick as I harvest. Don’t plan on cultivating pods, there are thousands on the glass and rocks.

have started dosing reef fusion part 1&2, heavier on the calcium dose than the alk. My alk has tested into the 12s, while calcium has yet to test over 400. I am happy with these numbers but would like more hard corals so do want to get the calcium up.

the sump is awesome. The skimmer is legit. Tank is hitting its stride :)

It is a lot of fun to document where I came from (finding an old 75 gallon aquarium in a storage shed) to where I've gotten. This ballin 125.

Full tank shot cause I got my third BTA and can’t kill this one or I’m getting PETA called on me. Just hits different with that anemone in there, hopefully clowns stop bothering my Duncan and move ship

Lookin closer at it, the two corner overflows are purposefully left with algae. The three tang amigos, well actually two who follow each other around and the big dumb mean one, love this wall of algae. Every time I go to scrape it off they give me the fish sad eyes so I leave it. Fatties

Zoa garden started, rearranged by urchins for a week, finally super glued and now I think they’re going to stay. Have a bit of green algae growing, might have to get another snail or something, melanarus pretty much picked my CUC off other than a few large hermits and snails but 95% empty broken shells

SPS has really done well in my tank, thinking about grabbing a couple more to fill in the top of the aqua scape.

it’s funny how happy and thriving an anemone will do once your salinity is where it should be. Loves getting fed, clowns are certain they want to jump ship from my Duncan’s to the anemone, but not sure anemone has accepted them yet. They go over and touch it couple times a day but always run back to Duncan.

Planning on 20 gallon water change spaced through a weeks time. 4 heads will pull water from sump and push it behind the cabinet, and the other 4 heads will pull fresh saltwater and push it into the tank. Also have the option to dose liquid from containers below

the 30g is coming out from the bottom and I’ll run my 75 gallon as a sump with some baffles for more room

This guy just ate an entire shrimp. I guess it’s upgraded from wanting a squirt of mysis

Pretty rough job, but I accomplished what I was trying to accomplish. There are now different sections for chaeto, the skimmer, an algae scrubber, and fuge mud if I so choose

HANNA MONITOR OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

tested my salinity a sharp 1.026 baby , only trust the HANNA SALINITY TESTER. Man I despise those refractodumbmeters, with their rusty lens screw and tiny little screw. Never did sleep well at night until I purchased my Hanna salinity
