Swapped out the 29 for a 50, give me a little more elbow room and water volume. Really happy with how it turned out.

reef flux and then ChemiClean over the last month have helped with the algae and cyano. Ready for some coralline to start spreading, bare rock is just there to grow algae no matter what you do, it’s like a fresh plowed field.

It is really hitting its stride. Don’t tell on me but I haven’t done a water test in over two months. Until I get some extra cash, and can afford Hanna. I realized I was wasting my time with testing, because my ICP results were so far off from my “results”

Very proud of my IFP results. Everything was dialed in except low iodine. 3 drops/day and I’m all set. Next ICP test will be middle of April, and will adjust from

you can see all 4 new fish in the same picture, 2 kleini, a coral beauty, and red head Solon fairy wrasse.

I have my auto dosing dialed in, except instead of doing it all at once it’s divided into 4 pumps of 5 mL/squirt. Dosing reef fusion part 1 & 2 , and a magnesium supplement. Running a skimmer and algae scrubber for nutrient removal. I’ll take some pics of the DIY scrubber when I get home, it is so easy and works so well. I added my last fish to the tank about 2 months ago. Went a bit wild, but I had added a coral beauty and a CBB that got bullied to the point of death. I really just wanted blue kleini fish, but free shipping at $179 so I just added 4 fish at the same time, and absolutely no aggression. I think I confused the resident elders. My OS tang is now the king , and the kole tang has moved to #2.

Just a 2 dollar plastic tray from wal mart, some zip ties, egg crate, overlapped knitting mesh. I pulled some algae out of the tank and threw it under the knitting mesh and it’s growing through the mesh and I just razor blade it off when it gets dull. DT has significantly less algae, and socks, skimmer, and front glass need cleaned much less often
