DI doesn't sell 10 gallon tanks cheap anymore - at least not out here in Phoenix. They're $15ish. Cheaper to buy at Petco during their sale. 😂

Petco may be the option. I need 2 then...... one for a sump the other for a hatch tank. I have a grow out tank (my 60 gallon cube im getting going) after the clowns have gone throught meta. Trying to make this system as diy/cheep as possible.

Facebook and OfferUp often have free 10 and 20 gallon tanks out here, just gotta catch the posts before the resellers do.

I also forgot at add the facts that I bought more clownfish.
I've got 2 mated sets in my tank but no breeding yet. I've got a trio of standard Ocellaris in the DT (not sure if it's two males or two females though, could honestly be two females) and a Black Ocellaris female with a Mocha Ocellaris male in the sump.

Female in the display is going on 6 years, maybe older. The other two are probably about 4 years old.

I went down the rabbit whole and researched. If you want to entice them to breed you need tonfeed 3 times a day and turn your heater up to 82 degrees.

Well guys, I officially have clownfish in my sump. The guy I bought them from said they were already laying eggs, but that excitement was short-lived...
When I got home, I about **** a brick and went straight into pure fish doctor mode. I went to get them out of the car, and both of them were swimming upside down!
I immediately threw them in the sump and got two air stones pumping, then rigged up a light I had laying around.
Here are some videos of them right when I put them in vs. now, a few hours later.

Thanks to @08TRDOFFROAD for the advice today.

They are looking way better than the first picture you sent me!

I don't know what advice I gave other than to be a bad influence and encourage you! You did all the fish-saving on your own and just told me what you had done afterwards!

After they settle in overnight, I think they'll be out of the woods! I'll keep being your cheerleader to encourage them to settle in quickly and lay eggs for you and then you to raise some baby clownfish for us!
