Kinda looks like a tube worms tube. Does it move or is it always on it?

i just moved this coral and turn it around and saw it on the backside

I want to say its just a old tube worm tube. I'm sure someone that might know alittle better will chime in.

ya i just dont want to have some crap growing on my corals.

I wouldnt think anything of it, that type of stuff is going to happen on the bone structure of corals, just like a worm would attach itself to a rock
