It's in the forums rules that you agree to when you sign up. Contrary to most of this thread, you can intelligently discuss this topic without a tirade of profane misspelled words and posting links to RWNJ news "sources". This sucks, kids do stupid things. Do any of them deserve to be shot and killed over it by a citizen with a gun? absolutely not. Responding to violence with even more excessive violence is not the answer to this. The reason things like this happen is the poor mental health care we have in this country, and the ever growing income inequality gap.

It's not about responding with excessive violence. It's about protecting yourself. We call those that don't protect themselves sheep.

this is why i dont let my girlfriend walk to or from work, i drive her everywear. Shes a really good lookin girl and if someone were to sideline her like that or anyone of your wifes or childern its a whole different ball park. even another family member. Its sad and sickening to have to worry about if anyone is gonna get hurt when they go out to a bar or walking down the block to the store to get a gallon of milk and break for your family. or someone on vacation just visiting. Its gonna make the city loose money and then what will that finnaly take people to understand? cause of money? and less people visiting cause of the violence. this is such a shame.

half these kids have pretty good brains they choose to go with these little stupid clicks and bang on other people... Beat your own selfs up why dont you... they need to put there head to the books, use that violence to do go and become a cop or somthing else idk, go in the army and take your anger out there. then you wonder why parnet put there hands on there children casue of EDITED like this. But then the parent gets in trouble cause she or he beat there son for punching some poor old man or woman in the face in the streets. But HE CANT GET HIT FOR IT?!?!? what tpe of place do we live in.... well its delt and have to be so but its just soo twisted...

my wife and i carry guns and have paperwork to carry. more people just need to carry,hopefully it will teach them a lesson when you shot them.

I have to agree that the answer is not to respond with more violence. However, I totally agree with those who have said it is less likely to happen if people were allowed to carry a gun. Even this is not going to solve this issue, these people obviously have no regard for the life of others and more than likely not even their own. The solution to this is going to have to be a change in how people that do this think. It's going to take someone to say "this isn't right we should stop". It isn't likely but that's what needs to happen. Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes:

i was reading the paper this morning, well "skimming" again it happens in new york a man punches someone and got pusshed into the train tracks.... like holllyyyy crap its crazy.
