yea buddy same here in jersey forget about gettin a generator there all gone with a waiting list i hope it dosent hit us that hard i believe the news is reporting the eye to hit long island and miss jersey

I got the last generator from home depot, they wheeled out a pallet of 12 and it was a mob in ten seconds. People were grabbing like 3 or 4 generators (who needs that much?)
And ALL of the good flashlights and lanterns were GONE

Batteries too!

no im as ready as I can be, lets hope it all works out,
I bought my generator a few years ago when nobody wanted them. I got a really good Rigid with a Honda motor. It can power up my whole house

Good stuff Bill, I'm glad you're well prepared. Good news is it's weakend a little but it will be hitting NY directly and we're just a stones' throw away so we've got plenty to fear. Duration of 20+ hours is a long time for sustained high winds and rain. I'm praying that if the power goes out, it won't be for long.

Welll its passed jersey I believe minor wind serges but nothing too crazy I was expecting some flooding around my area which is common and Thank God no Power Outage. How about you guys?
