Is it normal behaviour for this species to only extend its feeding tentacles at night? I added this little fella on Friday and he pretty quickly climbed to the weir and has stayed put, but he’s only ‘active’ when lights are out, his tentacles are then are pushed to the surface and he works like a surface skimmer hoovering up the phyto, reef roids etc.
