Hi everbody!

I am busy making an aquascape for my
71” × 26” × 16.5” tank.

I am liking it at the moment, but it is kinda feeling to minimalistic. I dont like the beefy walls so this is kinda what I am looking for. The highest peak (the bridge) is 11 inches.

All tips and thoughts are welcome :)

Thanks!

I wanted that as a custom tank... maybe even 12" to the waterline... but I couldn't swing the delivery logistics-- so I ordered two (2) 150-gallon tanks. But I'm still jealous. Will you go with a lot of little fish, or just a very few big fish (i.e., the 'pets' idea?)

2 150s is insane as well though!!

Normally I am a nano fish guy, but having 2/3 bigger fish kinda tickles me haha. So I am not certain yet! I love bigger fish that work..

JMO but I don't see much at all for fish. A few swim throughs but no hiding places. Often I see awesome looking scapes but no habitat for fish. I have 24 fish in my 330 including 9 tangs, several well over 6" and every fish in the tank has a place to disappear to when the lights start to dim. All of my tanks look void of fish when the lights go out because no fish is left without a place of their own to hide for the night. I think having a scape pleasing to fish more so than humans helps keep aggression down also.

Yea I do like a pretty aquascape though, but I dont like the minimalistic style I want fish to hide. The tank is low, so I wont be building a wall either. I will be trying to get a middle ground.

this seems a little better in my opinion, in the middle under the brace it is still empty. Not really sure what to do there?
