Anybody have experience with this tank? I just got a rimless 6.8 shallow tank from imagitarium/Petco. Tank seems fine , but online it doesn’t have the best reviews but just wanted to see if anybody has experience with this tank?

I mean, how bad could it be, I'm assuming it's inexpensive? What were some of the negative reviews? A lot of times it's for things like the tank was damaged in shipping, which obviously won't be an issue if you pick it up in store.

Mainly just damaged when shipped but a couple of reviews mentioning that their tank leaked or it just simply blew up on them lol but yes it was cheap just $24 and still haven’t filled it up to see if it’ll hold water but will check tomorrow

Well I hope it doesn't blow up on you!

I had for some time an Imagitarium 6.8 gallon AIO, the tank was fine, the AIO setup didn't work well and I modified it, but no worries with the tank leaking.

On FW side of things, people have been reporting the q3 2025 batch of imagitarium tanks have terrible structural stability. A few people have been having the bottoms burst on them, leaking siliconing, hairline fractures that become apparent as soon as its filled, ect ect. All of my tanks (aside from AIOs) are imagitarium though, and they’re just fine. Don’t know what the problem is with that batch, but if you’re concerned, I’d leak test it for a whole week.

Personally I live dangerous and would set it up asap, I’m not getting my apartment’s security deposit back anyway.
