Thousands of copepods?

Recently my algae problem has gotten much better, I had just assumed my urchin has just been eating a lot (which he has been). But today I noticed something… while I was feeding my neon blue goby, I noticed he was eating some weird particles off of the back glass algae. Then I noticed some weird particles around the uneaten fishfood. Then I realized it… I had THOUSANDS of copepods on my glass! I never bought any, do y’all have any thoughts of how they ended up in here? Potential hitchhikers? (Btw I also have some small fan worm hitchhikers, are they harmful?)

copepods can come on anything you put in your system that came out of another system. And fan worms are harmless.

Okay that’s good, my corals seem more open than usually lately so I’m assuming they aren’t the coral eating ones.
