Threaded fittings

Good evening, everyone,

I have a Korallin denitrate reactor. I believe this is made in Germany so the pipe threads are not likely NPT (National Pipe Threads). The only other threads I can find are BSPT (British Standard Pipe threads) and BSPP

NPT are english tapered threads
BSPT are different tapered threads
BSPP are non tapered that rely on an "O" ring

How do I know what I have? I could assume that they are BSPT but I would prefer if someone smarter than me can confirm.

BSP and NPT are two different types of thread used in plumbing. BSP (British Standard Pipe) is a tapered thread with a 55° angle, while NPT (National Pipe Thread) is a U.S. standard tapered thread which has a 60° angle. BSP is usually marked with an "R" and NPT is marked with an "NPT" or "NPTF". BSP threads also have a rounded peak, while NPT threads have a flat peak. All the best.

No reply from Korallin. However, I can confirm that the threads are BSPT
