Very Nice.
I have one arriving tomorrow. Very excited.
Was that the 1.25 or 2-inch?
How yellow are they?
Are you going to but them in qt?

How big are they when they arrive?
Mine was like the size of a quarter in body not including the fins. He was so tiny! Here are some growth pictures. The last two are the first day I had him. The female clown is an adult at 3 inches for reference. He was so tiny next to her!

They very small and pale (almost transparent) when shipped but they color up and grow fast. You’ll enjoy how they change their color from almost nothing to vibrant yellow.

Here’s my trio bought at separate times.

My three tangs have been doing in the isolation box since Thursday. I have purle, blue, and powder tangs in my 265. When do you think a good time to release them?

If they are not interesting to the other tangs, they probably can be released. If they were my fish, I would 100% tape a couple mirrors to the outside of the aquarium right before release. Then feed the tank well just as they are being released.

It is tricky with purple and powder tangs. While new tangs are in the box they don’t pay attention but once you set them free they might attack them. My stablished purple did that for almost a week when I added the yellows. After that they are all good.

I guess my question is, should I leave them in the isolation box longer than seven days?
Should I release them when they start picking on one another?
