My damsel is doing a strange behavior I've never seen before. It's rubbing its belly along the corner of my tank, away from all the other fish. Usually he's in the thick of it with the clowns. But today all he seems to be interested in is going up and down the corner, and barely showed any interest at feeding time. I'll try to post a video. It's kinda cute, but I'm curious if this has am indications or anyone else has seen this behavior.

Here's a link to a video:

A dance, indeed . . .

That's how damsels behave when they're laying eggs - though why s/he might be doing it without a mate . . .

My girlfriend suggested that and she definitely has laid eggs! Does anyone know if they commonly lay without a partner? Could she be having a ******* child with another fish?? Lol kidding...

Should I get her a mate? My tank is a 40B and I read they need at least 50gal for two, as they get more aggressive with age.
