Three Week Difference in Purple Stylo!

Hi all! Long time lurker here, finally trying to get into being involved though. I have had my tank up at this point for about 8 months. I just wanted to show everyone a stylo that I got a few weeks ago on sale. Poor little guy was definitely struggling at the store, but I didn't let that stop me from getting it. The first pic is from june 20, the morning after I put it into my tank. for a couple days, i thought i may have wasted my money and the fella was just gonna STN all the way out, but after about a week or so I started to notice some brown coloration returning to the coral and it felt a little bit promising. I kinda just forgot about it and fell in love with some euphyllias that I had just gotten, but I decided to take a pic last night to compare. And, oh boy, is there a difference. I have started to notice it encrusting onto the rock I have it on and those white tips were actually completely absent until late last week. I am super hyped to see how fast this little guy grows!!!
