Starting this thread to document getting back into the hobby. Tank and stand aren’t here yet but the aquascape is finished. Tank is almost identical size as my printer cabinet.

welcome back!
nice rockscape, what kind of coral/fish are you thinking of adding?

Currently on the wait list for a longfin black storm pair. Yellow Prawn Goby and pistol shrimp will probably go in first. Midas Blenny. Pintail fairy wrasse. Not sure about anything after that.

Thanks. It’s been 6 years since I sold my house and just broke my system down and sold it off. Finally in what I think is my forever home so I figured I’d get back into it. It will be a mixed reef, I am extremely patient and planned when it comes to tanks so it will be a slow process. Black Friday I will order all of the equipment. Once I get the tank stabilized and used to the trident and kalk reactor and dosing I will start adding lps. Softies until then. I’ve always had a thing for rock flower nems and zoas so those will get me by for 6 months or so while the refugium gets established and dosing gets squared away.
