Tiger tail pellets whats in it for me.

So my Tiger Tail (Holothuria sp.) 24 " long does these mounts of pellets all over the place, what do you guys do with it, normally i don't touch it but lately they make quite a change in the landscape in the sand bed. Should i spread them over the sand bed, whats in it? Just don't want to spread "stuff" around if you know what i mean....lol. he make a very good job of cleaning up the sand so is my snails churning up my sandbed but its no longer 2 1/2" all over now i have pockets of 3-4 " at some points and 1 1/2" at others... i've got a 150G tank 6'X 24" foot print.
