Thanks man, I'll check those out.
Your welcome. I use them on my setup.

I'm glad you were able to stop the necrosis, those are some nice sized colonies too. Have you ever considered buying 100% pure sodium carbonate from a pool store for your alkalinity replenishment? It cost me like $7 for half a gallon and it has lasted me for years. The dosing rate is 7 grams to raise alkalinity by 1 dkh per 100 gallons.

I was using ME Coral for about 2 years which was basically that but always had lower ph and had to use more. When I switched back to aquavitro the results were noticeable in about a month. It is more expensive but it works well. I use there calcium as well.

Oh wow that stuff is crazy overpriced too. I just dump the pure carbonate directly into my overflow box and it dissolves pretty well in there and gives me a little pH increase. I'm interested in trying that aquavitro calcium though, it seems like it may be more beneficial than what I use now because of the form of calcium it is. I also like that it buffers calcium without affecting alkalinity which I haven't seen before either.

I've been very happy with there products. After using different supplements I can see the difference. Every now and then you can find sales at world wide or other local stores. I try to buy a gallon at a time and that keeps me stocked up for a bit.
