I started w/fowlr then killed a bunch of softees. Fast forward to 12 years later and I'm ready to reset. My question is what do you guys do with all the beginner corals and extra frags. I've already buried all my lfs with mushrooms, anenemonies and chalices. What do I do now? I've got hundreds to get rid of and can't bear to kill the creatures i spent more than a decade learning how to keep alive. Any ideas?

If your in a larger city you might be surprised how fast you can move livestock in classifieds (if it’s well priced)

you have this forum at your fingertips. try to sell some, maybe do some giveaways? perhaps even commuting to another fish store and donating there?
I guess I'm just nervous about them surviving the shipping. I gotta do something though so maybe it's time to try.

What LFS have you given to already? I'm somewhat in the area.

Awesome tank! Its great to see some tanks that have made it 10+ years. I was looking at the watermelon mushrooms and gave me flashbacks of the nightmares I had while trying to remove them all! Shipping isn't as bad as you think, there is a dedicated forum on here that has some pretty good tips

Yea

hell I'll give a bunch of stuff if you pay the shipping

Why are you resetting? Tank looks nice :)

You could probably sell it off as a package to someone or do you have a LFS that takes trades? I get credit at my LFS.

I wish I could take the mushies off your hands or any softies or nem's. Not safe to ship this week though.

I do know if you can wait till spring, they will ship easier then. I can tell you right now half my packages are delayed and Fedex even sent me a email about some of their hubs being disrupted due to winter weather and UPS/USPS likely have the same issue right now.

Otherwise I would give it another two weeks for the holiday rush to slow down then ship in styrofoam packs overnight with a heat pack.

Well aquatic technology, coral reefs, saltwater havens, tidal gardens. They have all been great but you know when you have 500 plus blue discoma they can only handle so much.

I'll PM you a few locations, that are close to all of those.

Haha, I had one as a hitchhiker and didnt think anything about it next thing I knew it was like the plague. Cleared a lot of them off with kalk slurry but the rest got traded to the lfs.

Because I'm out of room and the mushrooms, borenaman anaenomies, candy canes, hollywood stunner and mini maxi anenemonies are crowding out the things i wanna grow. Not to mention the tube snails and the fact that I can't even scrub the glass anymore. That's just my display, I also have a 30g frag tank full to the brim.
