Been debating getting either a tinkers or declivis for a long time now. Please share your tips or experiences with keeping either of these guys.

What did they eat?

Did they bother corals?

How long have you had yours?

Tips?

Pics?

I was maintaining a customers tank a few years back that had a Tinkers butterfly and his was eating frozen food and doing REALLY well, It was being kept in a 180 mixed reef and I never noticed it picking on any corals although his tank had good enough growth that I dont think that even if the butterfly had nipped a few corals that it would have even been noticed

If you can afford one I say get the tinkers as they really are a BEAUTIFUL fish, Just make sure you put him in a Q tank before introducing him to your main tank, This way you can watch him for disease and try and get him on to frozen food if he isnt already

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking about a pair but I may wait for my corals to grow out a bit more. Looking for all the info I can get.
