Hi

Im running a 35gallon with a sump.
Due to lack of space on the bottem im looking for ways to integrate a container for putting some macroalgae in here.

I was thinking about this right next to my skimmer.

There could be enough flow but minimum of things going out.

What's your purpose for the chaeto? Are you using it for nutrient export or to house pods? That probably won't put much of a dent in he nutrients but could make a nice little pod house.

I tossed some chaeto into a five gallon bucket with some water I was dumping from the tank, and set it outside in the summer. I came back a week later to a full bucket of chaeto. With sunlight and nutrients, that stuff will grow anywhere.
