Ill hopefully sell mine before it gets to big on me this tank is just a 24 gallonyes I got mine at that size and it grew out.
honestly if it gets comfortable in your tank you only got a couple months, once they get comfortable they need a lot of swimming space.Ill hopefully sell mine before it gets to big on me this tank is just a 24 gallon
Oh danghonestly if it gets comfortable in your tank you only got a couple months, once they get comfortable they need a lot of swimming space.
HahaCall the tang police....LOL....JK
Didnt get it from a store got it from my supplier along with a few other fishYeah, they sell them young like that. They're such cool fish, I empathize with wanting to have one, but in my opinion I would see if the store would take him back. He's going to outgrow your tank within six months.
I mean if it lasts a month with u its basically quarantined just not in copper, so you got a higher chance of someone buying him I guessDidnt get it from a store got it from my supplier along with a few other fish
Yeah it ain't on copper it's in my reef tank. If I sell it it'll have to be local I wouldn't ship it againI mean if it lasts a month with u its basically quarantined just not in copper, so you got a higher chance of someone buying him I guess
I don't need to give it away I can sell it. I'm just not going to ship it anywhere right nowThe suggested minimum tank size for a hippo tang is 180 gallons. It is not a matter of if you will need to sell or give away the fish. I'm not as fanatical as others, if you had a 200 gallon tank, and you kept a hippo tang in a 24 gallon until you decided it needed to move, that would seem ok to me. But the reality is that unless you have a 200 gallon tank on order already, you're going to need to give it away.
Right it'll be cool if they didshame they don't stay that size lol
but they got it right on finding nemo "just keep swimming just keep swimming"
I know it's to small I never said it was perfect. This ain't my only tankMy LFS has 3 this size.
And as stated your tank is too small for the hippo.
Why you say thatI got a feeling this fish won't live long enough for tank size to matter...
Why would you say that? The OP already stated he has bigger tanks if neededI got a feeling this fish won't live long enough for tank size to matter...
