Checked common hitchhikers and looked around and couldn’t find these tiny little guys with a chiton-like shell (meaning it might be articulated and is only on the back of the animal)

Any ideas? Photo of top and bottom

Does it look like a snail but kind of flat? Could be a limpet. I'm others will tell you for sure.

If so, I believe they are harmless. I hope so, I have a ton of them myself :)

I'm struggling a bit with the pics, but does it have legs like a pod, or a foot like a snail?

If it has a foot, then it's a chiton; if it has legs, then it's an isopod (of the harmless/beneficial variety).

A foot not feet - so ok, I was leaning toward chiton but hadn’t noticed them before today - I thought it was ok but since they seemed new I got nervous. I definitely also have limpets. I had like two big ones and now I have approximately 1 gazillion baby limpets if anyone wants some….
