I noticed a couple white spots on a bullseye rhodactis a couple of days ago. I realized that they were appearing at different places, so I pulled it out of the tank, thinking that they may be a flatworm or something. After removing it from the tank, the 2 spots have turned into many spots. I can't remove them with tweezers as they just don't hold any mass - they are just jelly like. It seems to me that they may be coming out of the mouth of the mushroom.

I lost an acan frag several months ago in another tank due to something very similar. I was told then that it was the guts of the acan. I got rid of that acan to prevent anything from spreading in the tank, and I haven't had any other issues. I did use live rock from that tank to start this tank - that was about 2 months ago.

Anyone have any similar experience or ideas?
