Tips for getting into SPS?

Oh, another thing; start with easy ones. Encrusting montiporas are relatively hardy IME, and birdsnests and stylos are supposed to be hardy as well. Leptoseris might be fun to grab, they have some really nice colors and are kinda underappreciated.

For the moody acan, try feeding it. They do best if fed at least once a week. They do also just kinda throw fits now and then, though.
Ive been looking at "green slimer" alot lately, thinking of that or birds nest primarily as not a huge monti fan. And I do feed the acan, but the darn goby keeps kicking sand into it and irritating; so also looking for a frag rack for now!

Start with any branching monti like bubble gum or tubbs stellata. Once you develop the discipline in growing them out load up on the acros .
