Tips on starting a reef tank?

The purple algae is good.
There's also little clear bugs that always are running on my glass I think they are coepods? I always wipe them away but they keep coming back should I crush them? Are they harmful?

Yeah probably copepods. They are good guys to have

I swear this is like the third post I sent today about this and got no response.. I have a fluval flex fifteen gallon and I'm looking to start a reef tank what lights should I get what corals should I avoid and what ones are the best?
Get a Maxspect Jump 60W Blue 2nd edition, it has a nice adjustable spectrum, and you can also use the presets on their app for different kinds of corals.

Yes, they are most likely copepods, but I'd like to get a positive ID on them. Yoy can either look them up and ID the yourselves, or post a picture here.
