hi

I bought a second hand TMC V2 Ozone generator but can't seem to programme it?

It's doing same thing as this one on YouTube....

. (Last few seconds of video)

Basically I been trying to programme it, I hold down both arrow keys to set the Ozone amont (2 LED's) then press the up arrow key down and also press down arrow key so I can then set the time, but it just goes bit bonkers...
Red flashing indicator on/off and All LED's green/Amber/red LED's lighting up and then just the greens...same as in Ytube video.

Is it busted?

It's ok TMC told me the 3 LEDs are an error code that tells us the unit's moisture sensor has been triggered and it has entered safe mode.

Unfortunately the plates that need to be clean and dry are completely corroded with rust and salt. Tried cleaning but it's had it.

Just got my TMC V2 o3 today , after some minutes the generator fall on error (red light) then I need to unplug it and it start again then some minutes later same thing...:(

Generator is brand new out of the box so it can not be moisture or corroded ceramic plates. Setup was done as per 1 Led ligth for ozone and 10 led light for timing.
When I have only 1 led light ozone the generator fall in error in 1 or 2 mns if I set it to 2 led ozone it will fall in error later (5-10mm).

It is actually connected to a bubble king Mini 200 RD3 and airstone at the in pipe on generator.

Someone got same issue ?

I am on my third TMC Ozone generator. I think they are as fragile as egg shells.

My first was second hand and had corroded plates and was beyond repair, had the red lights of doom.

My second was brand new, red lights of doom the minute I started it up, was advised to clean plates it then worked for 30 hours before completely dying on me (no sign of life at all) and it went back.

On my third now and when I set it to highest setting for length of time (12 hours) it don't go off! Have to keep it at 10 hours.

Contact TMC support, they are very good at responding with advice.

Thanks for your feedback,
Well just packed the generator back on the box.
Looks like dead now, when I turn it on he goes immediately on red light just after the check light start-up. Plates look clean and no dust or moisture
I could read many posts from people have troubles with it.
Generator looks really cool and well finish but the inside seems to be hell crappy.
Email was sent to TMC asking for advise (wait&see)
I will give another try but if the next one fail, I will take another generator for sure.

I don't know much about topzone generator but looks suspiciously like the TMC model.
